With the same internals as the iPad 2 (minus the camera), the mini gets access to Siri but the iPad 2 doesn't.

Does anyone else get why this is? You're even paying more for an iPad 2. Apple is bizarre (and not in a good way)!

The mini is cheaper than the 2 though. You would figure Apple wants you to buy the iPad 2. I'm sure the margins for the mini are less than the iPad 2.

They want you to buy the iPad 4 or the iPad mini. I'm sure apple could give two ***** about the iPad 2 and are probably trying to find a quick way to decrease inventory stock.

Because the mini is new and they are trying to get it to spread as quickly as possible. Learn 2 business.

Theyre probably dropping the iPad 2 next year anyway I cant imagine them keeping that around itll probably be the iPad 4 and 5 next year. They are def dropping the 2 they didnt even update it with a lightning connector.

I get that...my question was more rhetorical than literal. It's crummy that when iPad 3 came out, they gave it Siri but not iPad 2. Then a machine, with the same inwards as the iPad 2 comes out later, gets Siri.

This seems more Android than Apple, but whatevs.
