Mini LED screen on new MBP

If the new MBP’s are going to have mini LED screens, how will that impact screen uniformity? I am one that is a bit picky about their screens and just curious if this improves the screen to make brightness more uniform.

just like a tv really. more zones you have the better uniformity you will have. Full array tvs have great uniformity. Currently right now these are edge lit led screens so anything with mini led's will be a major improvement in a lot of areas.
