I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with the current design that people want to change it so much. Handles rock, tons of space for expansion, great ventilation, quiet, plenty of ports.

If they changed the design at all, it'd almost certainly be reflected in a loss of features too.

I think the OP is hankering after a Mac Mini, rather than Mac Pro, replacement; an xMac as it were.
