I found this little projector at AAXAtech.com. There are others just like it popping up around the web. Out of mostly curiousity I bought one and have reviewed it in my blog. They sell an inexpensive cable that hooks it directly up to the dock connector most iPods including the (2nd gen) Touch and iPhone(3G).
I'm not sure it's ready for prime time yet. No tripod mount. Yet it does do a decent job of projecting video and photos from my Touch up to 50" diagonal, although the room must be very dark.
I'll probably take it along on trips just for fun. It will project on any white wall or ceiling. Very portable. It'll run for about 2 hours on it's own battery, but came with an AC adapter. It will also play MP4 and other content from it's own onboard memory (1gb) or microSD(2gb) card slot.
What do you think? Anyone see a Pico Projector in their future? We'll see some in phones and standalone PMPs before the end of the year.
