iPad mini Mini Retina available for pickup on the east coast not west?!

So iPad Mini with Retina is now avail for pickup in store in NY and other places on the east coast but not in the west coast for now....so sad....:(
 
Yeah, no where Central either. I've checked TX/LA areas and nothing...
 
It could be the early 10AM local time delivery. Give the west coast sometime, hopefully have some later today. I wanted one today as well.:)
 
"Hopefully" this is just shipping issue, and they become available later as we progress through the day.

Just in case its not, I went ahead and ordered one to ship to my house. :)
If i can pick one up, Ill just cancel my order.

yeah I thought so too but 10AM went by and nothing. Called a local store in LA and the sales person told me they dont sell it in stores only online....weird given we know it is in some stores....

Did same thing...by when can we cancel an order online?
 
Yeah I was hoping there'd be some in the PNW available for pick up after I ordered it, then I could just cancel the order. But mine already went into preparing for shipment! So now I wait :D
 
I know it's probably too early to say definitively, but it seems only wifi available locally. Glad I placed my order online early this morning for LTE.
 
Local store rep just told me they have plenty in stock but their inventory system is being updated so that is why it does not show online yet...
 
The two main Las Vegas apple stores (town square and fasion show mall) both have each WiFi version available for in store pick up according to the check availability section.
 
Nothing in Dallas Area. Called local Apple store and they mentioned that they haven't received a shipment yet and as usual they don't know when they will get one. :rolleyes:
 
a couple hours ago, i saw the beverly center and northridge stores with pick up availability. not anymore, though.
 
Every few minutes, I refreshed store pickup availability in the SF Bay Area after I heard about availability in NY. I was able to order a white 32GB WiFi for pickup in Burlingame. I saw availability at the SF Chestnut St store for some models. A lot of models seemed to be available at the Santa Rosa location. So there was availability, albeit not widespread.

I don't think its a good idea to speak for the ENTIRE east coast. I am a east coast-er and iPad Mini with Retina is not avaliable in Apple Stores (at least they are "unavalible" on apple.com)
 
The Apple Store @ The Summit in B'ham, AL had every Wi-Fi model except the 128G Wi-Fi model when I picked mine up.
 
I was able to order and pickup one black and one white (for the wife) at our Stamford CT store today.
