Mini/TB Display - Audio garbled after 1 min FaceTime

I have dual TB displays.

I have tried the following with each of the displays.

I select which TB display to use in FaceTime. I can make and receive calls. People have hear me for the entire call nice and clear.

But every person I talk to, after one minute their voice starts to get static on it, then soon it just gets garbled and the volume goes lower and lower until nothing.

They can still hear me fine.

I am using the line out on the Mac Mini into a speaker.

Any ideas?

I see hints of this in other forums but no resolution.....

Something is up with the audio on these TB displays. Its not just chat, any audio coming out of my TB display is pure static after a few minutes. Nice and clear, then static.
