I have a single iCloud identity // password that I use on my Mini M2 (Sequoia), iPhone (18.6), and MacBook Pro (Monterey with the last possible update). All three sync to iCloud, including Messages. My iCloud account has more than 3.5GB of free space.
The specific issue is that only the Mini does not display photos sent to me through Messages. The message itself comes through, but I only get this for the image (see attached). Both the laptop and iPhone get the message and display the photo.
I have signed out of iCloud on all three devices and signed back in a handful of times, but there's no difference. How is it that my Mini settings are somehow blocking images in Messages?
This has been going on since I had an early version of Sonoma and is very frustrating. Any ideas?
