I’m starting to wonder if the new mini will have a warmer display compared to previous generation of oled panels. I currently have an 11 Pro and the screen is perfect with no hint of yellow. I really want the mini but I don’t want to sacrifice poor screen quality unlike my 11 Pro. Just curious on what others think and is the yellow screen something Apple could fix with a software update in the future?

I'm experiencing the same. Since this has been going on for both 12 and 12 Pro and presumably 12 Pro Max I'd say it's by design, just my theory. Or the display is designed this way or Apple chose that color profile for some reason that could be comfort.

I guess we'll have to wait a little more to know. Maybe a software update fixes it all together.

Cheers

I've been using both the 12 and now the 12 Mini. I don't think the screen is too warm, seems perfect to me. Maybe it depends on what you're coming from...maybe the 11 had a cooler tint?
