Minidisplay to DVI to HDMI not working

Hi, I have a new Macbook Pro, and currently have it connected to a 22" Insignia 1080p TV. The setup is a minidisplay to DVI adapter, and a DVI to HDMI cable plugged into the adapter and the TV. My trouble is that the TV is displaying a "No Signal" message now, after working perfectly fine this afternoon. Any hints or suggestions? I've tried rebooting, plugging in the cable before and after starting up the computer, and all HDMI ports on the TV. Again, I had the exact same setup this afternoon, and it worked beautifully, but now it refuses to.

I have the same problem and I've been searching the web for answers with no luck, anybody out there that can lend us a hand?

Are you using an Apple brand adapter? I've read about problems with knock-off brands.
