My own question: Anyone with FCE issues regarding the JVC GRD30US?
Any problems syncing audio? I've discovered from Apple's FCE forums that the Canon ZR-series has difficulties along these lines, but what of JVC?

Ive got a Sony DCR-TRV33E that runs fine with FCP4 and with FCE, it's a solid little camera with a good lense and a 1 megapixel ccd.
There are no apparent problems with audio sync, and I do a lot of post-pro on audio, so I free-wheel a DAT player with a couple of DPA mics in stereo and conform the audio back in to a clapper.
I'd love a timecoded system, but I can't afford it.
