Hey MacFiends.
I joined because nowhere across the vastness of google could I find this answer. I have a MacBook Intel DuoCore running 10.4.11.
I'm running a Belkin(whatever I got at Apple store) convertor from full HDMI to Mini DVI, attached to a cable from Monoprice hooking it up to a 42" Panasonic Plasma, 1080p. Worked flawlessly for the almost year I've had the TV. Perhaps coincidentally, I install Silverlight from Microsoft so I can watch Netflix with the wife on TV. Now, when I plug in, I get a light purple screen with a staticy image of the apple bar up top and not much else. Connecting the cord to the laptop brings up a bubbly purple background ont he Macbook (normally grey) and the Panasonic shows a light purple background with odd bars at the top.
So, the question is, Whats broke? Software, hardware, converter, monoprice cable?
I'd get a replacement, but I need to know whats broke!
Thanks in advance.
