Minijack port not working on 13" 2010 model

Both of my headsets haven't worked since I installed an USB headset. When I plug my minijack headset into the minijack port, the audio just continues to play out of the Macbook Pro speakers, and there's no information about a headset plugged into the minijack port when I look in Audio under Settings.

I have tried two different headsets in the minijack port, and none of them work. I think the problem somehow must be the USB headse, it must have changed my computer settings.

Does anyone else has this problem or do you know how to fix the problem?

My USB headset is Sandberg. I'm almost sure it's this headset: http://www.sandberg.it/product/USB-HeadSet

One of the minijack headsets I've tried is the standard ear ins from the 2006 iPod Nano http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ipod_nano.JPG

The other minijack headset is Creative EP-210 Black.
