I'm trying to find a good minimalist case for the iphone 5 but I want to make sure it has a bezel or lip to help protect the front. I'm not always considerate enough to put it face up on the table or surfaces. I've heard that the Photive Natural does have a bezel, but it is so small that manufacturing errors actually remove it. So before I decide to order, I'm curious if anyone else has any suggestions.

Perhaps this ultrathin wallet case is something for you?

This case is available in white, black and even pink:

I just ordered that one yesterday from eBay. It seems that the speaker opening at top is designed to let you use the phone with the cover closed (the case front then blocks the proximity sensor, turning the screen off, the microphone is at the bottom of course). Should keep the screen free of face grease!

Plus it has a cut out at the back for the Apple logo.

It looks very fine. Ordered from here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/140854906335

I like the Ringke SLIM SF.

$9.99 shipped, I could not be more happy with this case. It's thin, light, feels good, fits well, and has a tiny but effective bezel.

1. Snug fit and the front has extended lip around the screen edge the glass won't touch the table if you put it face down. Top & bottom are exposed. Generic cutout for volume buttons & vibrate switch.

2. Feels cheap. But it's slim. Top & bottom exposed.

3. Very well built. Fits perfectly. Top & bottom exposed.

4. Just like #3.

5. Not bad. This one's a matte color and not very grippy. Fits perfectly. Only top & bottom are exposed.

6. Same as #6, but with a rubbery, grippy feel. Fits perfectly. Only top & bottom are exposed.

7. The left, right and top of the bumper are a shiny black with the front and back edges being a off-black or almost dark grey color. Bumper is flexible but firm.

8. The case is a tight fit around the phone, it's a perfect fit that goes on without scratching the aluminum sides. The left and right bumpers of the case are hard plastic, while the back/top/bottom are rubber-ish TPU

9. It has a smooth, comfortable feel to it. It doesn't add any unnecessary weight and it fits nice and snug, as expected.

10. I like. Reminds me of the Case-Mate Barely There series. The fit is perfect. Fully covers left & right sides of phone. Top & bottom are open.

11. Meh. TPU case paired with a plastic bumper. All sides are covered.

12. Super light, no bulk, fits perfect yet not to hard to put on or take off.

Where is this case sold? It's not on the iFrogz site. Only the Luxe, Lean, and Ultra Lean are shown on the site.

The one I have and posted the photo of was purchased at Target. I also found it in grey sides/red back at a Sprint store. It's odd that it's not on the iFrogz site.

I'm confused by your description for #5 and #6.

#6 says it's similar to #6 - that sounds wrong

#5 says it's matte but you said the SF in #6 is matte

Please clarify.

I'm trying to choose the correct one for me. I want the rubbery, grippy feeling case.

Thanks.

#6 is what they call soft finish. That's the one that has a slightly rubbery feel to it.
