Minimize in place???

Can anybody tell me how to use "minimize window in place" feature in Jaguar? It looked nice on previews but I can't find it.

It was taken out of the final release though SpyMac.com made a patch to bring the feature back.

i've been searching all over for the information on how to do this, can anyone point me in the right direction, or just post it here? is it just modifying a plist item?
