Minimizing Dock Lag When Running Apps from DMGs

I notice that whenever I am running an app from a disk image I notice that the minimize feature on the dock lags, and the only way to fix it is to either log out and log in again or turn off and turn on again. Does anybody have a suggestion how to fix this?

I certainly have a question, why are you running apps from Disk Images?

like when I download an app, I run it from the Disk image first then if its good I'll copy to my hard disk, or like installers

I wouldn't expect any app to run completely as expected if you haven't properly installed it, i.e. placed in the Applications folder. The system needs to access the program and its helper files. Running from a disk image could prevent everything from communicating as it should.

At the very least, you can copy them to your Desktop or your personal Applications folder (inside your Home folder)

DMGs are not meant for running applications.

yea. DMGs are not like the U3 software suite gizmos. It's more of a package. Like parcel in the mail.
