Minor bug?

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone could run the following commands and give me the output

Code: 
/usr/bin/pmset -g

/usr/bin/pmset -g | /usr/bin/grep 'sms'

/usr/bin/pmset -g | /usr/bin/grep 'sms' | /usr/bin/colrm 1 8

I ask because i was recieving troubles in one of my Application as on the MacBookPros it seems some fail to do pmset -g, the people who have trouble normally get this at the end
