Minor but bothersome scratch on front screen - worth the risk of replacing?

I've heard many ppl have tried to replace the digitizer and it didn't work

I wouldn't bother. Worst comes to worst get apple to replace the screen but I'm not sure if they would for something minor.

You want to manually replace it yourself for just a scratch? Chances are you are going to break the thing. I've seen digitizes be removed, but it was using special hardware (sort of like a vice that holds te phone and then a computer driven piece slowly removes the digitizer). Even then the success rate isn't 100%. If it really bothers you, apple will replace the entire screen for $150.

Put on a screen protector....set it and forget it!
