This is my first post on this forum. I just sold my 13" MB and bought my new 13" MBP. I found some minor changes between the late 08 macbook and the 09 macbook pro.
The noticed that the keys feel much softer and quieter than the the old UMB. They also have a more matte finish than glossy. Also, the very top row of keys (the F-keys) are flat now. In the old UMB the were very slightly elevated on the right side of each key.
Something else I noticed was that the cd drive is quieter and doesn't make that long obnoxious sound when starting up. The sounds is short now and not too annoying.
Also, when the screen goes to sleep and you come back to wake it up, the screen transitions from black to the picture. Before it just used to wake up without the transition. Something else I noticed... when waking it up from sleep, it doesn't make the cd drive sound at all. Before it would make that sound everytime.
