I'm using Chrome on a MacBook 4,1 running 10.5.8. I'm having an issue that I feel like is sort of "permanent", because it happens for every browser and evry MacBook I've ever used. But I was curious if it has been fixed as of the latest OS.
It's simply this: If I have a YouTube video or other Flash video running on full screen, and I hit the fn keys to adjust the volume, then the volume indicator fades in just fine, but always disappears with a distracting flicker instead of a fadeout. Exactly the same thing happens with the brightness.
I've spent at least ten minutes searching for other peoples' complaints about this and was surprised to turn up nothing. So… has anyone else experienced this? Has it gone away in latest versions yet? Will it ever go away?
