OK I fully acknowledge this is minor. That said... In non dark mode most widgets seem to use the same white background. But in dark mode I've got at least 3 flavors of black background happening with different widgets. Maybe some enjoy that. For me it just creates a weird aesthetic. I appreciate that some widgets allow you to change background colors, but even those don't all seem to offer the 'right' dark mode color. I wish there was a 'standard' dark mode background color that all widgets supported so that I could choose to have all widgets use the same color.
