In Safari, I have this site in my Favorites list, and the logo has a white border around the MR logo. It was not always like this, it used to be the logo only floating over the transparent background. It seems to break every time there's a site upgrade, one time it was a black background which looked particularly horrible. I know this is quite minor, but YouTube recently fixed theirs after it was broken for a while so it reminded me that this one has been messed up for some time and was wondering if MR is even aware of this issue and whether it's an easy fix or not.

For me, "MacRumors" has a transparent background, whereas "MacRumors Forums" has a white background.
I just tried this and got the same result. Definitely seems like it's unintentional, then.

I'm not sure if it's intentional or not. The favicons are different as well.

Very interesting. I was just on my old iMac earlier today and I could see in my Safari favorites that the MR forums still had the transparent background because I hadn't been on the site in so long on that machine. It is of course very minor, and some might think it's a waste of time for me to start a thread but I notice these inconsistencies and I like to report them especially if they are a mistake. The two machines I am seeing it on are running Safari versions that predate the redesign, due to being on High Sierra.
