I just purchased a new MBP 13 and I noticed that on the hand rest there is a minor raised abrasion of sorts as well as a small scratch below the trackpad. Is this simply normal production ie a silly reason to return it or should I seek a replacement. It doesn't really bother me other than the fact that its noticeable and considering its a new macbook it really shouldn't be there. I purchased it from Best Buy this past Tuesday.

Thanks

I'm wondering why you're asking us?

No, it is not normal.

Yes, you can take it back if you want to.

Does it bother you enough to take it back?

If yes, take it back. If no, keep it.

Problem solved.
