Mirror agent fails to quit

the last few times I have shut down my 'puter I have gotten the "mirror agent has failed to quit" message. What does this mean and how do I fix it? I tried disc warrior and it still erred. I am running the latest tiger on a g5 dual 2.5ghz.

Do you have an external disk or virtual disk mounted?

I am running the os from the internal hd. I have two external drives, but they are just storage. In other words, no-- not that I know of!
