Mirror iPhone alerts bug?

I seem to have run into an issue with my apple watch series 1 where even if I set 3rd party apps to off in the Apple watch app on the iPhone so that they don't mirror, their push notification alerts are still coming through to my watch. I've tried unpairing and repairing and restarting both but the problem remains.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I am also having this since updating recently. Also tried re-pairing and it didn't fix it.

Same boat for me. News app won't push all notifications. Pushes maybe 1 out of every 10 from the news app. Everything else is fine though.

Having the same issue with my newly acquired Series 0 (first setup with watchOS 3 for me). I tried to disable most apps like YouTube, Snapchat, and other apps that I would require an iPhone for but the alerts are still mirroring to the watch.
