Is there a way to mirror an iPhone screen onto an iPad like we can do with an Apple TV? I have an Unlimited data plan so I can't tether. I found one app called Slingshot but the reviews aren't great and there is a monthly fee. I want to be able to use this while not on Wifi.

Not that I know of, but very interested to learn what others have to say. I remember reading code snippets from Apple Developer a couple of years ago that seemed to indicate you could share and control the display of another device(s).
I haven't played with that, but it seems like it might be a worthwhile proof of concept.
