Hello, I'm looking into a solution to allow me to store two copies of my iTunes library (and a TMbackup). One would be at work and 1 at home. I carry a MBP to work which has a 256gb ssd which is too small for my itunes library so the itunes media folder is stored (and linked to) on a large ext HDD. Currently I just use spotify or similar. But Im interested to know if i could make a duplicate of my library and then store that at work on a HDD that was given the same name?

I also use iTunes Match which i believe would allow me to remove missing links to and redownload any music which has been added to the library that is not on the HDD I am connected to.

Does this sound about right?
