In the Depths of the SLC!
I am trying to set up a RAID of two external HDs. I have a 640GB and a 100GB external hard drive. The 640GB drive has two partitions. One is 300GB and it is a mirrored backup (SuperDuper!) of the internal HD in my Mac. The other partition is around 298GB (fat32) and it is a manual backup of my files and such.

The other 100GB HD is all free and I want it to be a mirrored partition of the second partition on the 640GB drive, aka a Mirrored Raid. Both are set to FAT32, but for some reason Disk Utility won't let me pick the partitions. I know they don't have to be the same size so I can't see what the problem is. It will let me select the whole drive though, so I know it works so far.

What am I doing wrong, or is what I want to do not possible. I have tried setting up a SUPERDUPER! system, but it won't let me select two Fat32 drives, and neither will CCC. I need to have it in FAT32 because I keep these files backed up for all my OS's.
