Mirroring Ipad2 to TV without Appletv wired

Hello,
I've looked through the forums and can't find an answer. I have a restaurant app that doesn't support tv out through the VGA cable i bought to connect it to the tv. Is there a way to mirror the screen through the cable to the tv without spending tons more money on an appletv? Thanks

You can use the VGA AV Adapter to mirror it or the Digital AV Adapter. Both will run you about $30-40 a piece.

If the app doesnt support outpout throught VGA i doubt it will threw DVI or HDMI

If that's the case you need an Apple TV to stream WIFI

No, with either of those cables, you can mirror your iPad to a TV. The app doesn't need to support TV out. It can still be mirrored to a TV with either VGA or HDMI.

OP, which cable did you get? Can you link me to it? Also, what app are you referring to? I can try testing it for you.
