Misplaced old iPhone during move. Not sure if I erased it.

My concern is that if I didn't erase it, my information would still be on it. I know it wasn't password protected. Is there anything I can do to make sure if it gets into the hands of a stranger that they don't have access to whatever information I had on it?

was it connected to your iCloud and had a Find my iPhone enabled?

I always put at least a pass code on my older phones kept for use as a spare!

Be sure that you change your passwords for anything that you might have accessed from that phone.
