I downloaded example DateCel from Apple Dev Center, and I select base SDK in Xcode, but "Base SDK Missing" is still displayed, when I compiled it, the message is [BEROR]error: There is no SDK with the name or path 'iphoneos4.0'

What can I do?

You may need to change the base sdk on the actual product/target not just the project settings. Most of apples samples are for 4.1 now.

I just changed project setting is past time when I met Base SDK Missing error.

You are right, after I changed base SDK of target, it is successful for compiling, thanks.

By the way, can you tell me what base SDK of project setting different from base SDK of target?
