iPhone 17 Missed Touches on iPhone 17/17pro

I have the feeling that since iOS 26 and the iPhone 17 base model, I'm experiencing many more unregistered touches on the display, especially on the sides. Can anyone confirm this?

I haven’t noticed anything like this on my 17 Pro on iOS 26 and iOS 26.1.

I have noticed a few missed key presses when typing on my base 17 model.
