I have at least one album in my music library that only shows up when I search for it, I'm not really sure why, It's quite strange! It does not show up in Artist view (or album view). This has been happening probably at least since iTunes Match came out (when I stopped storing music on my phone), but it's possible that it happened before. Does anyone else have this issue? I have a video below of an album I ripped from a CD years ago, so perhaps it has something to do with the name of the artist, but the album shows up as normal on my MacBook Pro.

iTunes Match has always been a nightmare. Everyone's mileage may vary but I have heard only horror stories about missing music and strange behavior, much like what you are noticing.
