missing apps from the purchased tab on the iphone

hello,

from some reason both on my iphone and on my itunes on my mac, when i go the purchased tab i can only see 5 apps that i downloaded even though i have about a hundren on my device. i have an iphone 4 running 5.1.

Any clue how i can recover those apps??
