I'm working on a PowerMac G5 running Leopard and doing something very simple: I import video from my miniDV camcorder into iMovie, export the video to Quicktime, and then upload to my website. This has always worked, but recently the Quicktime file has no audio. I have checked in iMovie and the imported video does have audio, so something is being lost in the exporting process.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem, or can anyone give me a better, more efficient workflow for this task?

maybe you can import directly from quicktime. I thought there was an option, but I could be wrong, I believe it was something like archive, new recording (option command n)
