So, I opted to do a restore on the new iPhone 4 from a 3G running iOS4 image. Everything seems to have restored just fine but I've noticed that the battery level percentage isn't being reported on the top of the screen. I've crawled through the settings and can't find anything on changing this.

Was wondering if anyone else had run into this or if I'm going to need to bite the bullet and build the phone up from scratch. To be honest this shouldn't be necessary, but could be my only option.

BTW, my reason for doing the restore is simply a matter of data. I have several apps that contain 2 or more years of information. Most have a "save/restore" feature but several don't. Even those that do have their own unique way of saving which will add time to building the new phone.

Go to Setttings? General > Usage > then turn on Batter Percentage

Well duh.. YASUE...... (Yet Another Stupid User Error).

Thanks for the quick responses.. I know I looked in there but going back it's obvious I missed it.
