Missing call audio option

I no longer have the option to use my watch for call audio.

This may only have been an issue since I updated iOS the other day.

I didn't get the chance to update my watch before they pulled it. Maybe related ?

Doubtful. I have iOS 12.1 and watchOS 5.0.1 - no issues sending and picking up calls on my watch. Tried rebooting the watch?

A restart made no difference.

I can pick up calls on the watch but, for example, I've just took a call on my phone, and made another call from it, and on each occasion, the top right hand icon just said Speaker and only allowed me to toggle it on and off.

i’ve got the same issue, noticed it yesterday

bump anyone else figure if they did this on purpose? same with 5.1.1
