Missing CD/DVD drivers during installation

I'm trying to install Windows 7 with an install disc I created with an MSDNAA download. When installing, I get a message telling me that Windows needs a CD/DVD drive device driver, and it won't progress any further until it gets the driver. This amazes me because it's obviously reading from the disc. Anyway, does anyone know how to bypass this issue? Keep in mind, this is NOT a problem with drivers once Windows is up and running. I can't even get to the beginning of the Windows install. Thanks to whoever can help out.
