Missing Complications ??!!

New watch arrived, it’s gorgeous, but ... complications that worked perfectly well on my series 3 just don’t show up on my series 4!
Why on earth would complications be removed? Makes no sense at all - I reset the whole thing and restored from new rather than backup thinking that might be he reason.
It’s not a deal breaker but it is absolutely infuriating and has taken the shine off the whole thing a bit today.
Not sure where to go to 'complain' or beg for them to be allowed back in there?!

If they're third-party complications, you'll have to reinstall their apps and then they'll return. A restore only migrates your settings. I discovered that when I went to change the weather complication in Infograph back to Carrot from the built-in app.

Some apps also will need to be updated to support the new faces; Carrot did release an update. so once the app reinstalled, the complication worked fine. I'm now being informed that the sun is choking like a dog around the rim of the Infograph analog face.

I’ve got the same problem and I setup from scratch. Looks like an issue that needs resolving by Apple.
 
Can’t get the heart rate complication with the graph for the modular face as shown in the promos. Anyone get that to work?
 
The messages complication is missing. I can choose a specific contact but I liked the one that took me to the actual app
