Missing contacts in 8.3?

For some reason, I am missing contacts in my iPhone's address book. I know they are there (Their information used to be on my phone and when a person calls, all of their personal information information, including picture shows up), but the name is not showing up in my address book at all (even when I search for any combination of their name). Plus their name is on my computer (I use iCloud).

Any suggestions?

I had a friend who had a similar issue back in iOS 7 or early 8. All her contacts appeared missing as in totally empty! Had her go into iCloud on her device and sign back in. All of a sudden her contacts appeared. If you only have certain ones missing, I would look in iCloud.com and see if they are there. If so, edit one and see if it updates on your device. If you use groups, make sure you have selected the correct group.
