missing dock icon

Accidently removed the icon in dock next to trash on right
side of divider in osx 10.4 tiger. I think it was an apple os x
info icon shaped like an @ on a spring.....how can I get this
back in the dock??

Bookmark it. In Bookmarks, pull it down to the dock.

if you want the default dock's spring icon its actually linked to Apple's Mac OS X page. so go here and once the page has loaded drag the favicon on the left of the web address to the right section of the dock. thats if you really want it. youll tend to notice that most users just remove it as its a waste of space.
