Missing Download stack

Why is that missing and how do i create a new download stack.How can i also put a title on that new stack,("download")

Click to open your HD, and navigate to your user's Home directory. There, you will see a downloads folder. Click this folder and drag to to the dock.

Thank you,i did this before it works, but it doesn't work like the document stacks where as you click the mouse on that icon it opens up and separates individual items and instead of showing a folder it shows one of the items(pdf file)as it's cover.
