iPod touch missing email addresses in Contacts

I tried to sync my daughter's ipod touch with Address Book and no email addresses show up on the iPod. I've searched preferences in Address Book and iTunes, as well as the iTunes > Devices > iPod > info tab and find no selection to include or exclude any part of the contacts listing.

Syncing from an eMac G4 OS X.5.8 to a 2nd Gen 8 GB iPod Touch running version 3.1.2 software.
