This has happened a couple of times: I shut down my iMac for one reason or another, and after powering back on, I'm missing 2 or 3 days of email from all folders---inbox, sent, smart mailboxes, etc. I can usually recover it manually from the Mail library, but his is tedious and time consuming, since you have to open the message in preview to see what message it may be. I'm just curious as to why this is happening? My mail comes from a comcast POP account, and if I log into comcast, all the stuff is still there.

Thanks.
