iPhone Missing facebook Contacts

I cannot work out why my facebook contacts on my iphone under iOS6 only shows 3 of my facebook friends. I have at least 100 friends on facebook.

Even if I remove my facebook account, uninstall facebook, reinstall facebook, switch OFF icloud contacts so that ONLY my facebook contacts remain - I'm still only getting 3 contacts. Any ideas why?

I thought I was alone! The same thing just happened to me... I have 517 FB friends, but my phone's only showing 115...and contacts that used to be linked aren't showing up anymore.

I've tried resetting, restarting, uninstalling Facebook and reinstalling it, recovering from iCloud, and NOTHING.

Please, please, PLEASE helppppppppp!

have you tried turning the facebook contacts sync off then on again and hitting "update all contacts".
