Are you talking about emails or Text Messages? If it is test messages, you can

1. open the conversation and touch "Edit" in upper right hand corner. then you can select each message you want to delete and touch the delete button on the bottom.

2. The other solution is to swipe right on the persons number or name and do delete, that will get them all.

In email the first method I sighted and it works the same.

Hope this helps

Thnx for the rply
But my problem remains unsolved
M talking about text messages
I have messages from around 50 people in my inbox. So i have to swipe on indivisual name and delete
Even if i use edit i'l have to select indivisually 50 contacts
So is there any way like "delete all" or "mark all" and then "delete" ????

I got the solution
But u need to jailbreak your iphone
Then u can get tweaks like idelete
There are a lot of other such tweaks
But apple should add this in ios6
