Like it says, one morning my internal 2 GB data drive (Late 2012 iMac, core i7, 32GB ram, internal blade main hard drive) decided not to have anything on it, but it still shows the correct files size used in Finder, 852.8 GB.
I'd love to recover these files or the drive or what ever, I'm trying EasUS Data Recovery Wizard Free and I'm being that it's finding some RAW files, but I'm not too hopeful.
Any experience with this or any guidance??

Thanks

Download DiskWave from here:
It's small in size and free.

Open DiskWave and go to the preferences.
Put a checkmark in "show invisible files".
Close preferences.

The DiskWave window shows you drives and folders in plain English (no ridiculous graphical formats).
Click on any drive or folder.
Now, you'll see what's ON the drive, listed in order of "largest to smallest".
You can easily locate what's eating up your space.
