I was looking at Wikipedia's main page today and I got some missing fonts in Safari. Those are Indic fonts. I did some Googling around and found most answers to install Devanagari MT, which I already have as part of Leopard's default install.

Could someone go look at Wikipedia's main page using Safari and tell me whether can Safari render that properly or not, please?

I know Firefox 2.0 does not support AAT, so it only renders that as question marks. But I expect Safari not to choke on those Indic fonts. Did I break something on my Mac?

Thanks!

I can confirm the issue with webkit nightly 30885 and safari 3.0.4 on Tiger 10.4.11

I can now also confirm this issue with safari 3.0.4 on leopard 10.5.2 default installation.

Thanks for the quick response!

I should have mentioned that I'm on Safari v2.0.4 (5523.15), on Leopard 10.5.2 Build 9C31.
