My Areca thunderbolt2 RAID, model ARC-5026 ran out of space. So I hot swapped larger drives in one at a time and the RAID self-repaired.

It's now technically double the old size, but the new space is not available yet.

1. I ran "RESETCAPACITY Raid Set # 000" in the rescue menu, and that worked to double the size.
2. I did the "modify volume set" to increase from 9TB to 18TB and that worked.

But now what do I do in Mac OS (Catalina) to actually see and use the new space? Disk utility acknowledges the 18TB of space, but where is it? The drive is 18 TB, and there are two partitions of 8TB and 1 TB with no free space.

I figured it out. I had to delete the "War" partition (NTFS) to be able to resize the first partition.
