Before, with Google Maps, there was a green bar across the top of the screen that I could click on to quick switch to it from another app. I don't know if I inadvertently changed that somehow in the settings or what, but it doesn't appear there anymore. Anyone experienced this before and know how to get it back? I'm on iOS 10.0.2 on a 7+ if it makes any difference. Thanks!

Edit: or was it a blue bar? I don't remember

The bar is blue. And it only appears when you're actively using GPS and using it for a navigation route. The blue bar will glow up top, reminding you that it's in use still when you switch to another app.

But again, you must be actively using navigation with a set destination for it to show up.

Sorry about that. It's been a while and I forgot that it was blue. The green bar is for active calls. I fixed the issue by reinstalling the Google Maps app. I now have a blue bar again!
