I recently installed Windows 7 Ultimate through VirtualBox, but I wasn't crazy about the experience and I have a Windows 7 laptop. I used the uninstall tool from the downloaded DMG file, but my 20GB of hard drive are missing still. Is the space still tied up somewhere or is something just like a restart needed? (I've been using my Mac all day so I haven't had the change to try a reboot)

Your Virtual Machine is probably still there, you just removed the App. You can use something like Disk Inventory X to find it if you don't know where it is.
